What personal data we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it plain. No smoke, no mirrors.
Last updated: 10 June 2026
Aeonix ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-first marketing agency. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
[Registered company name], trading as Aeonix. 42 Edward Drive, Clitheroe, BB7 1FF. The data controller is [name/role]. Questions: [email protected].
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you submit a form (contact, audit request, AI readiness assessment, website calculator) we collect your name, email, company name, website URL, and anything you write in the message or assessment fields.
- Information collected automatically. Basic analytics about how you use the site (pages visited, device, approximate location), collected via Google Analytics only if you accept analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
Why we use it (and our lawful basis)
- To respond to your enquiry and deliver audits, assessments or estimates you ask for — legitimate interests / steps prior to a contract.
- To send marketing emails, only where you have opted in — consent. You can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
- To measure and improve the site — consent (analytics cookies).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business:
- Resend — sends the email generated by our forms.
- Cloudflare — hosts the website and serves it securely. Cloudflare also provides Turnstile, an invisible bot-protection check that runs on our forms to prevent spam and abuse. Data processed for that check is handled under Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
- Google Analytics — website usage measurement (only with your consent).
- Sanity — powers our blog content (does not process your form data).
These providers process data on our instructions. Some may process it outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as UK/EU approved transfer mechanisms) are in place.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and client data for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict your data, object to processing, or request portability. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above.
