Website design and SEO in Lancashire.

Based in Clitheroe, working with businesses across the county and well beyond it. Nothing we do is limited by geography. We just happen to like working with fellow Lancashire businesses.

An AI-enabled agency that happens to be in the Ribble Valley.

Aeonix is built around AI doing the heavy lifting. Research, build, content and analysis run through it; the judgement, the strategy and the standards stay firmly human. That is not a cost-cutting story, it is a capability one: it means a full rebrand and rebuild ships in four weeks rather than six months, and a level of technical depth that would normally need a much larger team.

It also means we are early to the thing that is about to matter most. Buyers are asking AI assistants before they open Google, and being the answer they get back is a different discipline to ranking. We have been doing it for a while.

Being in Lancashire is a pleasure rather than a constraint. A good share of the work has come through the county, and sitting in a room with a client in Preston or Barrowford on a Tuesday is genuinely useful. The rest has come from people who found us online and have never needed a meeting.

What they say about it.

Lancashire business owners, in their own words.

The new website from Aeonix is beyond what we thought was possible within the budget. They understood what we wanted instantly and nailed the brand. The process was so fast and smooth too. We are now excited to work together on AI enablement to save time and money.

Where in Lancashire we work.

Anywhere in the county, realistically. These are the places we end up most often.

Preston

Homematas

Our nearest city, and the biggest build we have done. Homematas runs a 7,700 sq ft kitchen, bathroom and tile showroom here. We rebuilt the whole thing: 546 pages, and 316 range pages where there had been none.

Clitheroe and the Ribble Valley

TNT Scaffolding, Wildpack Collective

Home. TNT Scaffolding is here too, thirty years on the tools with a website that had stopped doing them justice, and so is Wildpack Collective, which went from a blank domain to 2,732 organic clicks in ten months.

Barrowford and Pendle

Hoc Digital Solutions

Hoc Digital Solutions is based here. We rebranded, redesigned and rebuilt them on Astro in four weeks, and a white-label partner enquiry came through the new site before the first day was out.

Blackburn

Twenty minutes down the A59. Manufacturing, trade and professional services, a lot of them running websites that were perfectly good in 2019 and are quietly costing them now.

Burnley

Engineering and manufacturing, where buyers increasingly research online long before they ring. Being findable matters more here than the sector tends to assume.

Blackpool and the Fylde

Hospitality, leisure and tourism, where seasonality is the difference between a site that converts in August and one that earns its keep in February.

Chorley and Lancaster

Both a comfortable drive. Chorley skews trade and construction, Lancaster more towards education, professional services and independent retail.

The bit most agencies round here have not got to yet.

Your buyers increasingly ask an AI assistant before they open Google. When a Lancashire manufacturer asks ChatGPT who fabricates a particular part locally, something gets named. At the moment it is rarely the business with the best website, because most sites are not structured in a way an AI can read and cite.

That is what AEO is, and it is structural work rather than cosmetic. There is no meaningful search volume for "AEO Lancashire" yet, which is the whole point: the businesses that sort it now are the ones that get named later.

Questions we get from local businesses.

Do you only work with businesses in Lancashire?

No. Most of the work is remote and we take clients across the UK and beyond. Being based in Clitheroe simply means that if you are nearby, meeting properly is easy rather than a video call with a longer drive attached. We like working with Lancashire businesses. We are not limited to them.

How much does a website cost in Lancashire?

Our pricing starts at £2,800 for an eight-page brochure site and £5,350 for a 15-page marketing site with a CMS. Regional agencies typically quote £3,000 to £8,000 for a small business site and London agencies usually start around £8,000, so we sit at the lower end by design. The website cost calculator gives a range for your actual specification.

What is AEO, and does it matter for a Lancashire business?

Answer Engine Optimisation is making sure AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity can read your site and cite you when someone asks about your market. It matters anywhere buyers research before they call, which is most sectors now. Almost nobody in the region is doing it yet, which is precisely why it is worth doing.

Can you meet in person?

Yes, and we do. Clitheroe puts Preston, Blackburn, Burnley, Barrowford, Chorley and the Ribble Valley all within a short drive, with Blackpool and Lancaster comfortable too. For anything further we work the way most people do now, well enough that plenty of clients have never needed a meeting at all.

Do you work with trades and manufacturers, or only tech businesses?

Both. The case studies on this site include a scaffolding firm, a kitchen and bathroom showroom and a paid media agency. What they have in common is not a sector, it is that the website had a job to do and was not doing it.

Down the road, or nowhere near. Either works.

Tell us what the site needs to do. If we are not the right fit we will say so, which saves everyone a fortnight.
